Bell work: Secure handout from tray by the door.  Get your IA Notebook. Write in your planner.

Homework:

  • Obtain poster board

  • Contact your partner

Classwork:

  1. Discuss procedure regarding graded IA Notebook pages.

  • Schroyer to pick up notebooks one time only for that particular grade/ pages.

  • If you completed yours for late credit, make-up work, left your notebook at home, etc. it is YOUR responsibility to hand me your notebook open to the page you want re-checked.  I do not go back into notebooks and regrade- ever!

  1. Printouts tomorrow so you can see what I have graded and can compare your work to those grades.

  2. Discuss procedure regarding test corrections.

  • One week to make corrections to your test.

  • Test corrections may earn up to 1/2 credit.

  • One RACE paragraph written for each correction.

  • Before school by appointment or during WT.  Be sure to ask for a WT pass FIRST.

  • Does not count as a summative re-take.  🙂

3.  Read poem and discuss.  Who am I? can be answered in the form of a poem like the one we just read.

4.  Work with a partner of your choice (FINALLY) and begin to write your own poem ABOUT YOU on the back of the Where I’m From poem.

***Use your partner to discuss word choice and to help you select the perfect word.***

5.  We begin a partner project on Tuesday.  You will need poster board.  Choose your partner wisely.
