Bell Work:  Glue Holocaust Handout (pink) onto page 72 and GO (yellow) onto page 73. Read through the rubric for the Holocaust Project and discuss the expectations for the project.

Classwork:

1. Assign Holocaust Project.

a. You and a partner will create and present a poster teaching your classmates a term relevant to the Holocaust. Your poster will need to include at least 6 graphics (illustrations or pictures) that correspond with the research you gather as you answer the following questions:

i. When did _______ take place?

ii. Where did ________ take place?

iii. What was _________’s role in the Holocaust?

iv. Who was most affect by ________?

v. How did ______ influence the tyrannical events that were happening?

vi. Why is it important that today’s students understand ______?

b. Your poster will also include a QR code providing your classmates with access to a podcast where you will explain your term using the research questions above.

2. Form groups/partners.

Homework: Brainstorm sources you think will be useful when conducting your research of the Holocaust. Get the materials (i.e. poster and pictures) you will need for your project.  BYOT !!!!!!  Complete your Unit 2 Remediation and Retakes. No work will be accepted after Wednesday, December 14th.
