Bell Work: In your notebook find your copy of yesterday’s essay sources (yellow).  Turn to page 26, write Paideia Seminar (at the top), and write a goal for today’s discussion. Review the rubric for a paideia-rubric and write a goal for today’s discussion.

Homework: Finish any incomplete work from class.  One more day to post your project on Office365.

1. Participate in the Paideia Seminar by addressing the following questions (Feel free to take notes on page 26):

    • You have a maximum of1 minute to state your case.
    • Your responses must includetextual evidence.
    • You mustelaborate on your evidence.
    • You mustrepeat/rephrase the previous response before beginning your own response.
    • You mustwait 3 seconds after your classmate’s response has concluded before beginning your own.
    • You mustwait for 4 classmates to respond before you can respond again.
  2. Review therubric for the Paideia Seminar and write a goal for today’s seminar.

c. Closing – What disadvantages, if any, have you experienced in your academic career because of your gender?
